View Full Version : Man of Steel on the FS700 Frank Glencairn April 13th, 2012, 09:16 AM I shot this manly with a pre-production model of the Sony FS700 (and some bits with a FS100)., but itīs about 90% FS700. Just received an other 700 to play with for a while. Hope I can keep it till 25th, cause Iīm shooting a short on that weekend and would love to do it with that baby. Since there is much less need to tweak and workarounds, I use only one PP one the FS700 that is Cinegamma 4, knee all the way up, slope zero. Setting the black level according to your scene, a hair over zero IRS. I don`t mess with the rest of the settings, they are fine in my book as they are. All color is done in post here, I record externally on a Ninja, so there is plenty of room to play with. I may do a second preset for low-light with a different gamma, since the gamma 4 is a bit on the noisy side when you crank the ISO up. Best, Frank |
