I shot this manly with a pre-production model of the Sony FS700 (and some bits with a FS100)., but itīs about 90% FS700.
Itīs the pilot of a series of micro documentaries - 10 minutes each - hence the name 10DOC.

Very nicely done, Frank.

Looking forward to seeing more in the series.

Outstanding work. Love seeing work like yours. It encourages me to work harder to make better films and doco's.

Im excited by this camera. I'd say I will definitely be lining up for one!

Hi Frank, do you know if your FS100 picture profiles work on the FS700? seems like there is a couple of different menu settings on the 700.

Thanks
Mike

No, different beast.

Since there is much less need to tweak and workarounds, I use only one PP one the FS700 that is

Cinegamma 4, knee all the way up, slope zero.
Setting the black level according to your scene, a hair over zero IRS.

I don`t mess with the rest of the settings, they are fine in my book as they are.
All color is done in post here, I record externally on a Ninja, so there is plenty of room to play with.

I may do a second preset for low-light with a different gamma, since the gamma 4 is a bit on the noisy side when you crank the ISO up.

Best, Frank
