It's still a (working) prototype. I've heard they'll be demonstrating it at NAB.

I just wonder how noisy that motor would be...it looks like it was ripped off an old full-size camcorder. I would have thought a less bulky grip to match the DSLR form-factor a better idea.

Interesting comment by Cult of Mac. Seems that after only a couple years of people trying to film with a camera designed to shoot stills, filming with a camera that has a zoom controller makes you look "dorky" (their word).

Certainly not "pretty" but if it works...
Now someone needs to make a sub-$4000 wireless...or heck wired remote follow focus so I can use my mkIII on my crane!!!
I know there's one from JAG35 and another from BV (http://bvff.shop.wosbee.com/PublishedService?file=page&pageID=9&groupID=321&action=viewPromotion&itemcode=CFFK)
Anyone try those??

And what ever happened to Redrock? Their EVF and remote FF are turning into another Red Scarlet vaporware scenario!!
