I have moved on to version 11 and have found it quite good in most regards!!!

However, I jumped into some compositing and be darned if I can find the animate button. Version 10 it is dead obvious, nice big and easy for these old eyes to see. I reopened several differnent windows and as usual I must have missed something along the way!!!

If you're using an OpenFX effect, you have to click on the little "clock" icon beside each parameter you with to animate and you can animate each parameter separately.

I wondered about that possibility, should have messed with it more,
