Hi All
I run my GoPro on a huge lighting stand at weddings about 20' to 30' up in the air so despite having an LCD BacPac You cannot see the final view...!!
What I was thinking was to hook up the cam via the composite out and run a cable down the stand so I can plug into a 7" LCD monitor simply to make sure the framing is OK!!! (I'd disconnect once I'm happy)
I'm pretty comfortable making up cables but does anyone know which pins are used on the 2.5mm composite plug for video ??? It's a 4 section plug so more than likely the bottom ring is ground but I need to know which of the top two rings or the tip is used for video (the other two would be L and R audio) which I don't need at all.
Anyone got a GoPro cable and a multitester so I know which is which so I can make up just a "video out" cable???
Any help would be appreciated!!
Chris
