After shooting an agriculture field school from 8 am until 3 pm in the hot sun on Tuesday I had a problem.
No, not with the FS 700! With my self! Too much sun! I had shot all day in regular speed and thought I'd grab a slow motion shot walking through a crop on the way back to my vehicle.
I shot the clip, closed the screen, waited a few seconds and then turned the camera off. Then realized it was slow mo and perhaps the camera had not finished processing etc. $#@% etc. I slowly flipped the screen back up and even though it was turned off, it was still working. It finished what it had to do saved the clip and then tuned it’s self off.
I turned it back on to check the clip and to my relief all was OK. Not sure if that was just luck or a feature of the camera, but I won’t do that again.
Liking this camera more every time I use it.
cheers
