Hey all,

I have recently purchased the fs700 with the kit lens and so far absolutely love the camera.

It's the first interchangeable lens camera I have owned after using ENG cameras in the past so I don't really own any glass.

I want to now start getting a set together, in the ideal world I could afford some zeiss ze/zf lenses or some canon l series. Unfortunately at the moment money is right so I'm now looking at getting some older manual lenses instead.

I'm am thinking of Zeiss contax lenses. Starting off with the 50mm f1.7.

My question is are these lenses a good match for the fs700 and what adapter would you reccommend using with them? I don't want to get a cheap £30 adapter and then find it shears off damaging the camera due to poor materials and machinery.

Thanks!

Chris

Zeiss C/Y is good stuff. I have loads of them. But Zeiss never made any fast zooms, so I use Nikon.

Peter, which Nikon lens models do you use, and are they fully electronic other than zoom?
