Hello,

I just picked up our FS700 and will def have to light the heck out of everything when using slo mo!
I knew that was the case, but didn't realize how much.

Quick question: is the rocker zoom on the handle operational? I plugged in the cord from the hand attachment into the remote port on the back of camera. Was hoping I could zoom in and out, but no go... am I missing something? Stock lens right now, but I have the Metabones on order for use with Canon lenses.

thanks
Dan

Why you don't read the Manual first and your answer right there.

Thanks Cuong, never thought of reading of the manual... I was under the crazy impression this was forum for questions and input.

We're still waiting for a servo controlled zoom for the FS700.

There was one for the Sony F3 - a scary hulk of a lens priced around £7k:

Sony SCL-Z18X140: SCL-Z18X140 (SCLZ18X140) : Product Overview : Sony Professional (http://www.sony.co.uk/pro/product/camcorderlenses/scl-z18x140/overview)

Would the FS700 have a reworked version of this? It's a familiar specification (T3.9 to 6.3 IIRC) though slightly longer range than the kit lens. But at the size of a 'not exactly unsubstantial' cookie jar (with mass to match), it seems a bit too much for the e-mount. :-)

So we continue in 'watchful waiting' mode.
