I notice that some of my lenses when mounted to the metabones adapter slightly wiggles from side to side when focusing or zooming like the Tokina 11-16 and Canon 17-55. The Canon 24mm and 100mm doesn't budge it mounts perfectly. The play is on the front end of the adapter not the back end where it's mounted on the FS700. I also noticed that when I walk around with the camera the lens is wiggling slightly again not all the lenses just the two I mentioned I can see this as being problem for handheld. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem I'm wondering if my metabones adapter is defective or if this is normal.

It is always a good idea to use a lens support, on bigger lenses and if the lens wiggles I would say it is very important. My Canon L's are solid on the Metabones but I still always use the lens support or mattebox with solid connection to the lens.

Photo below shows my lens support for the 700 with a prototype of the shoulder system.

I make my own it does not require 15mm rails and is very light. It is part of my UniCamRail system that also has a shoulder kit and large battery plate for counterbalance if you want an ENG setup.
