Hi folks,
I'm in need of a controller to use with Vegas for mixing audio. I saw this Zoom R16 mixer/recorder/controller.
Has anybody used this with Vegas? Other suggestions?

thanks,
M.

There is the Behringer BCF2000. Used street price about $125, new is somewhere north of $210-250, find it on Google.

I successfully set it up to write volume envelopes across multiple tracks, but haven't used it in a few years. If you like faders, though, it's the least expensive way to get them!

And yes, it is pretty amazing to see the faders fly on their own.

If you decide to try this out, I'm sure I have collected documentation somewhere.

That is great news! If it's not a problem, and you could send along some documentation on the "how-to"'s of the process that would be be excellent! email - milt at manykites dot com

Thanks again!

I'll look and see what I have. In the meantime, check out this overview from Sony. (http://dspcdn.sonycreativesoftware.com/whitepapers/behringer_bcf2000_with_vegas_pro.pdf)

And this step-by-step. (http://www.whippey.eclipse.co.uk/BCFforVegas.htm)

And, just for fun, look at this.
