I know this is a FCP x thread but couldnt find where to put this question!

I am trying to export a FCExpress project but when I export as a Quicktime file I just get the audio and no vision! Now I'm hoping I've just done, or not don, something simple/stupid but I have no idea...any help?

I know this sounds dumb...but its very possible your export settings are set to "Audio Only". I've almost done that myself. Check your export settings.

Thanks but I checked that and its not the problem, but a good thought.

I have tried to find all gaps in the video timeline to remove any incase that caused the problem but its still the same...exported versions have perfect audio but no vision!!
