Hey everybody. I just got my account validated and figured I'd stop in and say hi. My name's Nathan and I run a small production house here in beautiful downtown Seattle called Resonance Digital Arts. We just finished a music video for local act SMP (which can be found here (http://www.theraindreaming.com/smp/thisperfectday.mp4)), and are in the middle of pre-prod for another band; one that I'm a huge fan of. As far as gear goes, we shoot on an XL2 and edit with FCP4 on a dual 2 G5.

I normally hang out at the cinematography.com forums, but their video forums are way slower compared to here (and they've got film snobs. heh..).

Anyhee, it's a pleasure to be here. I look forward to talking with everybody.

Welcome Nathan!

I'm pretty new here as well. This is an excellent forum with some of the most helpful people you will ever meet.

Please have a Mocha Latte Grande for me. No Starbucks here in the sticks.

Best wishes

Hiya, Nathan!

Seattle--one of my favorite getaway spots. There's a reason for all that flannel; I spent some of the coldest nights of my life in nearby Bremerton one November. Damp cold--chilled me to the bone! But my times in Seattle have been wonderful.

Welcome! Would love to see your music videos.

p.s. to Bradley: I've never been far enough north in Wyoming to know of Riverton so I looked it up on a map. It does seem a bit remote. :)

Hi Lorinda!

My friend from Spudville! You probably know that Wyoming is the least populated state in the US.

Last time I checked, there were less than 500,000 people in the entire state. Riverton has about 8,000. I think there might be 5 guys for every gal around here.

I don't want to hear any sheep jokes either! (Though I have had my eye on one up the road...lol)

Thanks for the welcome!

I spent some of the coldest nights of my life in nearby Bremerton one November.

If all goes well, we'll have a shoot out there on the Naval Shipyard in about a month. That should be super exciting.

I'm from Bremerton, just across the water.
