Hi everyone. I have tried to use the Nano Flash with the Go Pro hero 2 connected through hdmi. However, I am getting a codec error. Will Nano work withe Go Pro 2>

Codec errors usually means: The HDMI format is incompatible (like 1080p60), or Black picture is being fed through HDMI.

The Nanoflash currently has a bug where black picture over HDMI is interpreted as no signal. If you cover the lens, you literally make the Nanoflash think the signal is lost.

As it stands right now, with devices that output lower than black, you will need a HDMI to SDI converter and record over SDI rather than HDMI. Try that and report back to see if it works. You may have more luck outputting 720p60.

I am not using 60p. I am simply using 1920x1080 30p. Thanks Roman

Try 720p60 then. If it's sending an invalid format, that is the reason you are getting the "Codec Error."
