Hey everyone.

I'm just having problems finding an active reliable link to download twixtor software that can be used with/for the FCP7, and could really really really really really use some help. We heard this was a pretty
good option to use in working with his Canon 5D mk II.

Thanks!

Robert

Thanks Justin:

By any chance do you know what the difference is between Twixtor vs Twixtor Pro. The best I could find within the forum is Pro has some more templates, but didn't know if there's any beyond that? All we would need is to handle the basics which is to handle slowmo.

Hello Robert,

You may find this link useful.

Guest blog: A guide to using twixtor | Philip Bloom (http://philipbloom.net/2011/12/06/twixtor-2/)

I learned a lot from it. Although the info is based on twixtor with After effects, the use of the plugin is the same.
To get good slowmo's with 5d or 7d camera's a lot of the work is in the shooting.

Regards,
Gerrit.

Twixtor is a plugin for retiming footage. Some people prefer it's slow-mo results to other methods of slow-mo.

I prefer the useage of Twixtor Pro - It allows for a much more customizeable useage of the plugin to match odd frame rates, which sort of interpolation you would like to use, motion blur sensitivity, among other settings which are just defaulted in the non-pro Twixtor.

Hi Justin:

I tried to download the demo version of Twixtor, but all the link did was a twixtor plug in for DVD Studio where it said it was missing a document, but did not see anything that would install twixtor demo on FCP,

Could you point me out if I got the link wrong, or advise what could be cauing install problem?

Thanks!

Robert
