I haven't received anything from Apple re upgrading to 10.0.6, neither via the Apple Store nor in "Software Upgrade".

I wonder whether this is because I "only" have Snow Leopard installed. Lion/Mountain Lion doesn't seem to have much, certainly in terms of editing via FCP X, for me to bother upgrading.

However, if it means no 10.0.6, a different kettle of fish.

I've got a laptop with Snow Leopard and I downloaded 10.0.6 on it last week.

Ron, it's not in software update. You need to open the App Store under the Apple menu, it should then show up under the update tab.
