Can you program 5D M3 to focus in reverse? like if you put a Tamron lens on it but wanting it to focus the same direction as Canon lens?
Thanks.

Hey Khoi,

I do not think so. This stopped me from looking at the D800 as all of the Nikon lenses are opposite as well.

Are you using a 5DMKIII now? I have recently started shooting with a MKIII and really like it. But in Edius, I have to use the Unsharp Mask from Boris Red to sharpen the footage. The internal sharpen filter does not cut it!

I got one on order, but thinking about the Tamron 24-70 2.8 VC, I need image stabilization for what I do, I saw some footage that are not sharpen and it is soft to me but not that bad so no need to sharpen much, beside I'm just shooting wedding:-)
My old XH-A1 have focus direction reverse, too bad it doesn't have one on this one, will have to say sharp when I'm switching between Canon and Tamron lens.

That lens seems like a great fit for video. Too bad the focus direction is opposite. And too bad Canon did not put IS on the new 24-70 f2.8. Although with the full frame sensor and great sensitivity (noise reduction!) f2.8 is not as important as it once was.
