XMass wish for Sony Raw from f5/55 to Gemini ;)

To record Raw on either I think you need the AXR-R5 RAW Recorder using a proprietary connector (I think Sony might be averaging one new connector per camera). A third-party recorder is limited to SDI, HDMI or Component.

Hope you get an F55 and an AXR-R5 as a gift!

The Sony RAW will be recordable via SDI. I expect 3rd party recorders to be available.

The Gemini will be capable of recording it from a technical level. Hopefully everything will come together on the software side to allow it to happen.
