I usually hate these DirectDVD boxes due to the instant compression and poor quality; but, the team i'm covering is going to the State finals and if they win they usually like to watch the game on the long bus ride back.
I don't have a DirectDVD box and am wondering if i can pull it off with a MacBook Pro.
Sure, i could use OnLocation then send the files to render for an hour and a half but that's too long, i'm not riding the bus. I'm talking like 30minutes max for render and burn. (40-60m of footage).
Anyone have a solution?
I'm not even sure an avc cam can send the video signal over firewire.
