Shaun Roemich December 29th, 2012, 08:29 AM Chris: I'll chime in and say that the Nikon D800 is a magnitude leap forward from Nikon from their previous offerings and FOR ME works much better than Canon's dSLRs in the limited role in which I use dSLRs in my practice. +1 for a Nikon forum now. Kyle Root January 3rd, 2013, 07:59 AM I'm game for it. I've been shooting video, limited, with my Nikon D90 for a while now. Works decent, but not great. Was very tempted by the BH and others D600 deals a few weeks back, but am holding out for a D400/7002/9000 or whatever new high end DX Nikon is coming out with. Hope to upgrade to something in Q1 2013, to compliment my Sony NX5U for gigs. Terry Smith January 3rd, 2013, 09:16 PM Please please pretty please!!!!! I'm still learning my D600 and have two projects slated for late January/February so I'm soaking up all the info I can! Other camera is a Sony Z5U with CF recording unit - but I'm looking to transition to the D600 as my primary camera for film style work. |
