I just bought a new GH2 and, as far as I can tell, it came with the 1.1 firmware. Should I be able to shoot in 30p? If so, how?

Also, how does continuous AF work? I can't seem to get it to respond with either lens I have. I've got it turned on in the menu, and I believe I have the Focus mode lever and Auto focus mode dial in the correct positions (AF tracking and AFC).

Are you using an Olympus lens ??

No, both of my lenses are Panasonic (14-42mm and 35-100mm).

Check the menu to see what your "half shutter press" function is. It should default to AF if those other settings such as AF and AFC are on as well.

"HBR" mode is 1080/30p, 24mbps on NTSC models. See DMC-GH2 | PRODUCTS | LUMIX | Digital Camera | Panasonic Global (http://panasonic.net/avc/lumix/systemcamera/gms/gh2/specifications.html)
