Here some more footage shot with the AC90 if anyone is interested. I also used the GH2 on the home side of the gym to capture the half time events. All pregame and game footage is the AC90. I used more conservative settings this time with much better results I think.

I posted on you you tube Chanel too.
Could you tell me how you get such clean sharp footage.
Everything I have done so far look muddy compared to that!
I am a total noob with pro video!

Thanks
Steve

Tim, very nice video! Did you get sound from their mixer? It's so clean I can't stop listening to it.

The players in the basketball action are very blurred (watched at 720p and I am NOT talking about single frames). What frame rate and shutter speed was used?

Progressive 59.94 - shutter 60

That's what I shoot at and I don't see that much blurring - do you see it in yours?

Here's a basketball clip, shot the same way (you can see from the frame grab that a slow shutter was used, but there is no obvious blurring in action):

and a Youtube clip (not the same one) from the same game:

just in case it is Youtube compression that is doing it. In both cases the original clips were uploaded - no recompression by me.
