What setting do I use to connect an LCD field monitor to a Canon XL2? I recently purchased one, and I can't get the monitor to show the video. Everything is in working order. Is there a certain setting to use? The LCD monitor power turns on, but the screen remains blue. I greatly appreciate your help! I can't seem to find any answers.

Why is this in the audio forum?

You may be better off posting this on one of the DVinfo 'video' forums. This forum is audio specific.

Ah yes but with the addition of a lav, a rode videomic, a zoom H4n all will be good in the world and all your video related problems will go away ???

Casey,

There is a tiny black switch that is easy to miss between the video outputs. It selects between RCA and BNC. You have it on the wrong one.

There is a section of this forum dedicated to your camera.
