sony fs100 mts footage -> fcp7 / use clipwrap or let fcp7 log & transfer 2 pro res?

i have a series of two camera/sony fs100s interview shoots.

each camera will generate approx 6 hours of footage-12 hour total

i could take all that footage and use clipwrap to get me to pro res (or pro res LT-anyone with an opinion?)

or i can use fcp7's log & transfer function to get me to pro res.

i know it has been discussed before but i'm not clear on any final thoughts on the subject.

clipwrap or fcp log & transfer?

what are the true positives/negatives of each?

any and all info would be greatly appreciated.
