Just putting my feelers out, in case I want to sell my mint-condition (40 hours) PMW-320. What would you offer, with a Canon 19x lens?

Hi Luc,

Recently sold one for 5900euros excl. It had about 185hours. It was a 320K with stock lens...

why are you wanting to sell Luc

I'm not really looking to sell it right now, just thinking about it. I use it very seldom, because video is only one of my many hobbies, and I find it a pity for such a great camera to sit there idle in my office... I have two lenses for it: the superb super wide-angle Canon KH 10ex3.6 IRSE high-def lens, and the less expensive Canon YH19x6.7. But I'm already sure I'll regret it if I ever sell it, because it's the best camera I've ever owned.

@ Jurgen: thanks for the estimate!

I was in the same situation as you luc. Bought a 350 and didn't use the 320 anymore for almost a year. The 320 is a fantastic camera but if you try a 350 you'll be able to quickly forget your 320 :-). I took the decision to sell my 320 because the evolution in camera's goes fast these days and waiting to sell would only have made the value drop. It has been on sale for a couple of months on different sites but no one wanted to give me more than 4500euro and for that price you better keep it:-). Finally I sold it on tvbay in one day so it also depends where you put it for sale... I now bought an f3 body with a scl-z 18x140 in addition to my 350. I found the body of the f3 for 5000euro excl. No money for such a camera but with the release of the f5 many f3 camera's are for sale... that's evolution I suppose....

Jurgen, I understand what you're saying. I've looked at the F3 too, because as a professional stills photographer, I have a Canon 5D mII and a 7D plus a series of lenses and I like full-frame video image that comes from these cams(well, at least from the 5D). But they are a pain in the neck to handle for video, so I use my PMW320 instead. I also found that selling on Tvbay is mostly a good idea. So I'll keep thinking about it a little longer... 6000,- excl. would be an acceptable selling price for me too, I guess.

Luc,

I was a little late with my response to Jurgen's PMW-320 so missed the deal. If you would put your PMW-320 up for sale please get in touch. I'm interested. You still must have my email adress somewhere :-).

I've finally decided to sell.

I'll post my mint PMW-320 in the classified section one of these days, but I wanted you all to get a first chance. It comes with the Canon YH19x6,7 KRS (a lens that gets favorable comments on this forum) and a battery. Complete with original package, all the accessories and manual, as I'm the first owner.

Here are some pics. More in the 'classified'-area.

For those who are looking for an extreme wide-angle: this camera can also be sold with the superb Canon super-wide-angle high-definiton lens KH10ex3.6 IRSE. This lens is also in mint condition. It is by far the widest lens for 1/2-inch cameras available on the market. Price for this lens is 30.000 $ new. Package price with the PMW-320 is 10.500,- euros. A unique ENG-combination for an extremely low price.

The wide-angle KH10ex3,6 IRSE lens can also be bought separately. Contact me for a quote.

PMW-320 is sold for 7.260,- euros, VAT included. It's a camera that keeps its value very well second hand.
I still have the Canon Wide-angle that is a perfect fit with this camera.
