Here is a three minute video I put together using FCP 7.

Griffin Memorial Trailer on Vimeo

What I want to do, but cannot find the documentation, is make the two images containing the program scroll from top to bottom. I know that I can increase the image size to fill the width of the screen by going to the motion tab and increasing the scale.

How do I get the enlarged image to scroll?

You need to keyframe the center point. Click the diamond next to the property in the Basic Motion sectino of the Motion tab. Play forward, and change the position by typing in the numbers, or by just moving the layer in the Viewer. The keyframe will automatically be created.

I need a little more information, What you have give me helps tremendously! What numbers are you referring to? I have typed a couple numbers in the Center Point and Anchor boxes. I get horizontal scrolling as the video plays. I want vertical scrolling. Do I need to make wireframes and postion them?

The center point numbers. The first number is X position, the second number is Y position. You can also drag the layer (if wireframe or wireframe + image is turned on.)

Is Center Point the same as the Center property?
Do I need to enter a Center property, say 0, 50 and an Anchor property, say 0, 100?

The Anchor Point is where rotation happens. Imagine it as the hub of a wheel. The thing you want to chance is the Center point. Either by dragging or changing the numbers.

Thanks! I turned on wireframe+images and played a bit. This is so cool!
