Does anyone know how I can send audio from FInal Cut X to Izotope RX? Do I export just audio and open it in iZotope? THe project is already edited so I don't have an option of putting it into Izotope first. ANy suggestions?

Izotope works like a plug-in within FCPX. Find the presets in the audio filters tab.

How do I install it in order to have it show up in Final Cut X? The options duriong the installation I have are:
RX Standalone Application
RX for VST
RX for Pro Tools
RX for MAS
RX for Audio Units
RX for AAX (Beta)

I don't see Final Cut X on the list

Any ideas?

Thanks

FcX supports AU, perhaps that is the answer. I have read various reviews that say it supports VST plugins, some say it does and some not. The OS does support AU. Disclaimer: PC user, no way for me to test this.

Later: a little Googling seems to indicate that Audio Units is the proper plugin format. Still no way to verify personally...

AU worked. Thank you
