Has anyone managed to find a way to install the Canon XF Plug in for Log & Transfer on a mac running Mountain Lion?

I've got one client whos running FCP7 on 10.8 and he gets security issues when trying to install the file.

OSX System Prefs > Security & Privacy > un-click the lock (bottom lower left) > Check "Allow applications.... to Anywhere, install, then go back and return to previous settings and lock.
