Hello,

I am using Premiere pro CS6 from the Cloud. I have an ASUS GT440 which is not on the list...I heard you can put it on the list but didn't know how or if that was possible..

Thanks!

Terry,

I had luck with the following:

Enable Cuda in CS6, Nvidia Geforce, GPU Cuda, Adobe GPU, What is GPU (http://www.vidmuze.com/how-to-enable-gpu-cuda-in-adobe-cs6-for-mac/)

Hi Terry,

Assuming this is a PC? Premiere can use most Nvidia cards, provided that it has at least 1GB of RAM, and DDR5 is preferable for the memory, and should have a decent amount of CUDA cores.

Go to Programs > Adobe > Premiere folder and find "cuda_supported_cards.txt" and RENAME it - put an "x" in front of it or something. When Premiere can't find that file, it simply looks at your card specs and if it meets minimum criteria, it will use it. There are other methods, such as adding your card to the list, but that is more involved.

Thanks

You can open and edit the "cuda_supported_cards.txt" in Notepad.
Add your graphics card to the list there.
(Notepad must be run as an administrator to be able to edit that file!)

You can delete the list.
If you are not sure give the list another extention so PP does not understand.
