Hi all,
I had a friend shoot a short clip for my movie on his FS700 at 120fps in 30p. I didn't tell him the rest of the film was in 24p. So now I am experience flicker in the slow motion clip. Is there a way to convert it to 24p so there is no flicker?

Any help is appreciated.

THANKS!

One trick I used recently that worked well for a Slow-mo frame conversion was to export the 30p video as a TIFF sequence the reimport the sequence at the needed frame rate. That will slow it down a little more but there will be no frame judder from the 30 to 24 frame dropping that you are seeing.

Annen. Are you Mac or Windows?

If on the Mac and you have Final Cut Studio then just use Cinema Tools to conform 29.97fps to 23.98fps of your Quicktime.
If you only have Final Cut Pro X then you should be able to easily conform the clip to 80% speed within a 24p project.

Otherwise, the frame sequence trick Chris described always works well, as long as there is no colour shift with the TIFFs.
