Does anyone of you have experience with this lens?
I´m looking for wideangel below the 18mm of the stocklense.
I thought maybe a Emount lens would be more reasonable, because i wont have to
use another adaptor (only a Minolta MD -> Nex is in use til now..)

Any suggestions?

To be honest: i dont wanna buy a lens for around 700€ that isnt
a real great solution...

I use the SEL16F28 16mm f2.8 coupled with the VCL-ECF1 wide angle converter - together will set you back about £300 - autofocus works nice and the image is reasonably sharp - I would say as sharp as my Samyang 14mm

hmm..
in that case...wouldnt it make more sense to use a converter simply on the SEL18200?
Somehow just for the 18mm range?

Well yes but half the price for the pancake plus wide angle adapter plus a faster f2.8 - I don't know how sharpness compares though - would be interesting to see however for wide work I now nearly always use my Samyang 14mm

Hi Michael

Try a Tokina 11-16 F2.8 ...magic lens and sharp as a tack and you can preset focus at 11mm so you have a huge DOF to play with. It does need a dumb adapter though but I find it awesome

hi there

so i tried out something different and bought a wideangleconverter for 60 Euros. (Factor x 0,45)
I didnt have time to use it excessivly but for me this seems to be a good solution.
