Just noticed a strange fault: after opening VP 12, all the video tracks are greyed out, although audio is still present. If I right-click on missing video, I can open the clip in trimmer and it will play there, just not on the timeline.
The video track is not muted at all, but it is just greyed out.
I have been using Hitfilm Ultimate recently, which is intergrated with Vegas, and that was working just fine. Strangely enough, if I right click on invisible video clip and choose add Hitfilm effect, it will open in Hitfilm perfectly, but not re-impoort.
I also tried opening Movie Studio 12 and that works fine, even with Hitfilm...

Might be something simple, but I know that I haven't changed any global settings...

Do you have a Solo-ed Video Track? This will mute the remaining Video Tracks?

Hi Grazie - No I haven't, but I just went into OPTIONS, and for some reason the MUTE ALL VIDEO box was clicked. Can't for the life of me remembering doing that, but hey, it's all back now thanks!
