Has anyone managed to upgrade to Version 1.12. I cant get the camera to see the .bin file on the card, just says no file.

Am I missing something here.

Hey mate, I cant work it out. Think Ill just flag it.

Brent, make sure you download the file from the UK Sony site. The Canada one does not work. Download and just put the .Bin file into your SXS card. You dont need to extract the bin file.

You reformatted your card then dropped the above named file onto it?

I can't copy the file onto the sxs card.. How do you save the file to the card?

Make sure that your card is formatted in the camera to Fat32. This will mean that your computer will be able to write to it with the firmware upgrade file.
