View Full Version : Is there a New Blue FX tool to do this? Jeff Harper March 13th, 2014, 08:35 AM Hey guys, want portions of three videos to fill my screen simultaneously in vertical strips, three across. How do I achieve this? Any suggestions? Mike Kujbida March 13th, 2014, 09:55 AM Track Motion combined with either masking or cookie cutter should be able to do this. Jeff Harper March 13th, 2014, 10:02 AM Thanks, Mike. As long as I've used Vegas I've never used track motion! I can easily see how cookie cutter could work. Will try. Mike Kujbida March 13th, 2014, 10:08 AM Never? Wow!! Jeff, you would use Track Motion if you wanted to change what you see on a particular event. Have fun playing :) Jeff Harper March 13th, 2014, 10:20 AM I looked at it ages ago, but the settings (parent, child, etc.) seemed very complex and I didn't seem to need it I guess! New Blue has a very nice PIP tool that is very handy and I immediately thought of them when I wanted to try this. Mike Kujbida March 13th, 2014, 10:39 AM I've never wrapped my head around the parent/child thing either. The New Blue FX looks like a good choice for people like us. Edward Troxel March 13th, 2014, 12:04 PM In answer to the original question, yes there is. Take a look at Video Essentials 6 which has both Picture Grid and Picture-In-Shape. Video Essentials VI | NewBlueFX (http://www.newbluefx.com/products/essential-tools/video-essentials-6) Jeff Harper March 13th, 2014, 12:09 PM I was just working my way through the sets, thanks Edward, so much! Jeff Harper March 13th, 2014, 12:18 PM Perfect, Edward, that is most definitely it! Edward Troxel March 14th, 2014, 08:14 AM Glad I could help. |
