We had 8 amazing submissions for UWOL 29 and the theme "Light".
Every single entry received one or more votes for the top 3 positions, and this is a good proof of the skills all of you have.

So, over to what you have been waiting for, here are the top 3:

Winner and champion of the light:
MIKE SIMS - "Why do scorpions glow in the dark"

Second place was shared between two films:
Give it up for our longtime contributors:
MARJ ATKINS - "(In)visible light"
PAUL WOOD - "The origin of light"

Well done everyone! You can all be proud of what you produced!

Well done Mike and Marj !

Given the quality of your all of the films submitted in this round, I am very happy to share second place.

Thanks to everybody else for your votes, and I am looking forward to the next challenges!
And a big thanks to Trond for taking over the organisation.

Yes congratulation Mike, Marj and Paul. Well done everyone and thanks to Trond also. This job of judging is getting harder to do which is a good thing.

Thank you for the kind words, everyone. But it is all about teamwork.
Organizing is the easy task. The real work is what each and everyone of you are doing, spending lots of time out in the wild, getting frozen in the arctic or melting away in the tropics, while you make those outstanding films you do!

Congratulations to the winners and everyone who submitted!
Hope to see everyone who signed up, and many newcomers next round! UWOL 30 will be grand!

I echo Geir's words here.

Well done to Mike and Paul and a big thank you to Chris and Trond.

Of all the challenges in which I have participated I personally learned the most from this one - simply by taking the opportunity to try something different.
