Just rigging a new Fs700 / Ody system. We haven't got the firmware or indeed registered to Ody yet. Am I right in thinking I should still be able the access all the functionality albeit in a watermarked state?

Dear Matt,

Yes, if you do not wish to activate right now, or can't right now, you can access all of the features of the Odyssey7Q, even extra cost options such as our FS700 Raw, Canon Raw, or ARRI ALEXA (ARRIRAW) support.

You do this by selecting "Demo Mode" when the unit is powered up.

And please be advised, that in this "Demo Mode" there will be a permanent watermark in all of your recordings. And this watermark cannot be removed by later activating the unit.

Please note that some of the extra cost options have to be loaded into memory, and this is an automatic three minute process. The lesser used options are stored in a compressed state, and this process uncompresses the code and then loads it into the necessary position for use.
