What is ProRes 4444 XQ exactly? Is it an RGBS version of ProRes 4444? I assume XQ stands for excellent quality ;)

XQ is a very high data rate format that also exports with an alpha channel like ProRes 4444.

It's designed to work with 4K media in creating cinema ready video production.

How fast is the data rate? It would seem logical that this new ProRes codec would be an upgrade for 4k outboard recorders like the Atomos Samarai.
