I am trying to edit my 4k footage from my sony ax100 camcorder in premiere cc 2014. My 4K clip is automatically zoomed in with the updated version of Premiere . In Premiere CC I would just right click the clip in the 1080P timeline and then choose scale to fit on my timeline. Then in the clip effect controls panel I could then do scale to zoom in when I needed to have the clip zoomed in.
So I decrease to scale percentage from 100 to 50 for the clip to be as shot, then I can zoom to where I want the zoom. When I go to render the clip the video is rendered as if it were letterbox. I am missing something but am having problems figuring out what to do.
Thanks!
Joe
