I shot a video yesterday for the first time with the C100. I have a Ninja blade as well. The problem I ran into was the C100 was telling me the video was perfectly exposed, but when I looked at the waveform monitor on the Blade it was over exposed by about 15 to 20 %. I decided to trust the Ninja Blade and turn down the exposure, however after importing the footage it looked under exposed!

Anyone, have this problem? Which one should I trust?

Michael,
You probably have to figure out how to monitor the gain on the Ninja and see if its live output is correct. The camera is the source and you have to know what you are sending the Ninja. If the camera is sending a correct signal and the Ninja recorded it the way it was sent but didn't output a live signal correctly then you have the result you describe. Your Ninja might need to be adjusted at the factory. I would ask them.

Thanks Daniel, yea it is basically a brand new Ninja. or I should say I bought it used from a guy that had used it for less than one hour.

I'll read up on it and see if there is a way to calibrate it myself. But in the meantime I will rely on the C100 for correct exposure.
