Hey guys!

If I'm working in Premiere Pro CC what's the easiest way to alter an individual clip to Resolve 11 and back again to CC? I'm trying to slow a clip down and Resolve does it beautifully but I'm new to this cross-platform stuff--FCP7 refugee that I am:)

Theoretically the XML export with media would be the easiest. Unfortunately (unless its been recently fixed) it doesn't work.

What we had to do is render the timeline as a single file then import the file in Resolve. Resolve can break the clips apart with scene detection. From there do the CC then render it back out as a single file to bring back into CC.

I talked to some Adobe folks at NAB this year. They indicated there was no rush in fixing the XML problems since you should be using speedgrade to grade your footage anyway..

Oh and be sure to use MXF files if you are on the PC side of the fence. The Quicktime gamma shift bug will get you if you decide to use MOV.
