I'm just wondering if it is possible to mirror event attributes.

I love being able to 'copy' an event and then 'paste event attributes' to another event so as to easily sync graphics through keyframes.

Now however I what to have a movement of one event (its attributes) mirrored on another event rather than straight copied.

I have two partially overlapping circles and I want them to roll apart in opposite directions. I have the motion looking ok on one of the circles with three levels of graphics all moving in sync, but now I want to mirror that motion in another set of three graphics.

Is mirroring event attributes possible?

i believe you can reverse a clip (play it backwards). i wonder if you can use that to reverse the order of the events. is that what you're after?

It sounds like you are wanting to copy keyframes. Are they Pan/Crop keyframes? Track Motion keyframes? What kind of keyframes are they. If you copy the entire event, you can add another clip as a take and the Pan/Crop keyframes will be copied. For Track Motion, you would need to select the keyframes, copy them, move the cursor, and then paste them to the new location.

Thanks Edward. I've been using in these sort of cases, pan/crop keyframes.

I've got it working but not through any simple mirroring process. I worked it out using the x/y and rotation numbers for the keyframes of one circle going one way...as to how far I had moved and rotated from the start point. Then I subtracted these amounts for the keyframes in the other circle going the other way. Bit labourious but it worked and looks good...
