Welcome to the Doritos Crash The Super Bowl ad creation contest discussion forum.

Most likely you're already familiar with the CTSB (Crash The Super Bowl) contest. If it's new to you, here's what it is:

"For the tenth and final year of the Crash the Super Bowl contest, Doritos is issuing a last call to fans globally and inviting them to create the snack brand’s next great television creative. The creator whose advertisement packs the most punch – or crunch – will be awarded $1 million USD and the career opportunity of a lifetime collaborating with Zack Snyder while working with Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment. The role will be custom tailored to the contest winner’s interests. Details about the contest and official rules are available at www.Doritos.com (http://www.Doritos.com)."

Read the official press release in its entirety at Last Call for Doritos Crash The Super Bowl Contest (http://www.dvinfo.net/news/last-call-for-doritos-crash-the-super-bowl-contest.html)

As in previous years, this is an international contest which is not limited to just the USA. Plenty of DVi members have entered CTSB in the past and as a matter of fact the very first round of the contest was won by DVi members Wes Phillips and Dale Backus, who went on to form a little company you might have heard of called SmallHD (https://www.smallhd.com/).

This is the 10th and last year for the Doritos CTSB contest. It would be great if another DVi member wins this round as well!

The website, as of 7:15am on Wed, November 11th, 2015 says "SUBMISSIONS END IN: 3 DAYS 16 HOURS AND 44 MINUTES".

However, that would mean entries had to be in *BEFORE* November 15th. (3 days 16 hours is Saturday night. the 14th CST.)

But the contest rules say, the contest entry period ends on the night of Nov. 15th: "You may enter the Contest between 12:00:00 pm (noon) Central Time in the United States (“CT”) on September 9, 2015 and 11:59:59 pm CT on November 15, 2015 (“Contest Period”)."

This would be up to one minute before Monday, November 16th, 2015 CT, and actually in my time-zone, would actually be 01:59:59 ON Monday November 16, 2015.

Which is it?

Just received an email from them ... looks like the site was glitched. It is definitely SUNDAY night as stated in the rules. All is well. :)
