My first wedding with the 4k upgrade on my X70's & the worst thing happened, SD card error during the ceremony.

The data is there, however I dont have the usual XML & MXF file, I instead have an RSV file (2.36gb) & an KLV file (0kb)

Anyone know how I can recover this file???

Download Handbrake and try and convert it to .mp4

Don't mess with the original, download the .rsv to mess with - my first port of call is File Juicer on a Mac - Echo One - Software for Mac OS X (http://echoone.com/), it works on RAW data not file type - don't know of an equivalent for PC, sorry.

Panic over - used these guys & it cost $99 for a 4k 5 minute clip - saves me from having a really awkward conversation with the Bride & Groom!! All sorted by Sunday evening.
