Blackmagic lists this as a "supported video format" on their Video Assist HDMI/6G-SDI Recorder. Not sure what 525 is. I kind of need 720x480 16:9 for DVD production for some of my jobs. Will this recorder work?

I believe 720 x 525 is the resolution of NTSC and allows for the line blanking, with 480 being active.

So, I think you are saying I am looking at a workable piece of equipment.
