Hi. I have made an HDV video using Adobe premiere CS5 and have made a Blu-ray disc using Encore. A friend of mine who has not got a Blu-Ray player has asked me to make a copy of the video on a DVD disc.
I have tried to do this with encore but a message tells me that Transcoding has failed. Can anyone tell me how I can make a DVD copy of my HDV video. Thanks. Please note that I am 89 years old and don't understand some technical terms.

If you still have the Premiere Project intact, Export using the "MPEG-2 DVD" preset. Bring those assets into Encore and create and burn the DVD.
