Hello all,

I've noticed that on my AX-100, when I'm using the zoom ring it goes telemacro when I rotate it anticlockwise and wide in the other direction. I've noticed this since it was bought new awhile ago, and compared it with my VG-20 with the 18-200mm kit lens which does this the usual way (wide <<, tele >>).

Apart from that there's no other issues, and i usually zoom with the rocker on this unit anyway but was testing the ring on the odd occasion. Have I bought a defective unit, or are all AX-100's like that?

Model: FDR-AX100E (European model).

Kind regards,

Bryan

Thanks Noa - I'm glad I'm not the only one. So do you prefer to use the rocker switch or touchscreen when zooming?

I always use the rocker to zoom, for focusing I use the touchscreen but for critical focusing I prefer to magnify the screen and use the focusring.

Thanks Noa - I'm glad I'm not the only one. Any reason why that is?
