Questions:

Can I use the same old DVD authoring software (Encore, Roxio) to deal with HD?

Will the old 4.7G DVD-R be still alright? What about the burner?

Thanks!!

You will need to down convert your HD video to regular DVD Size. (720x480). Blu-Ray or HD-DVD is coming out soon. So you can put your HD video on which ever one of those new media disks when they come out.

or if ur using DVDArchitect 3, u dont have to do anything, it will downconvert the files for you.

I regularly import Cineform or Sony YUV avis into architect withut a problem..

Doesn't Sonic make a wmvhd authoring application? I remember there was some talk about it, but after checking out their website recently I haven't been able to find it. There has to be something out for wmvhd I would suspect, because there's lots of DVD's with WMV HD dvd's already. Granted, they only play on computers, but it's still interactive, better than just playing a file off of a disc.

If you are a bit of a tech head, MS has a guide, but not a solution...

Found the product. This is what I was talking about. Looks like a viable solution.
