Thanks, You only get the free upgrade if you purchased the deal of buying Vegas 13 with a free upgrade to 14. Otherwise there will be a normal upgrade prompted when you start Vegas. If you haven't received the email then contact support and include the confirmation code from your V13 purchase after you check your spam folder. They said the emails went out 2 weeks ago. Both versions are installed. I'm still editing a project on v13 and dont want to mess with it on v14. About to cancel Adobe Premiere CS, their recent (June/July) update/upgrade mess was the last straw. In Vegas Pro 13, 'Options' > 'Preferences...' > 'General' tab, then check 'Use Net Notify to stay informed about Sony product updates'. Click 'Apply', then click 'OK'. Previous version of Sony Vegas Pro should be the same. The Magix Vegas Pro 14 should also be the same with the exception it will probably be 'Use Net Notify to stay informed about VEGAS product updates', as they changed the namespace from 'Sony' to 'VEGAS'.
