So, I'm trying to move from flying my Canon XF 300 to my D750. Everything finally works, I was able to get the HDMI to SDI conversion using my Atomos converter.
So my last piece of the puzzle is my Swit monitor, which does not have focus assist. Although, I'm not sure if the focus assist would make it through the conversion from HDMI to SDI. I have a Small HD with focus assist, so I'd like to mimic that on my sled but the Swit doesn't have it.
So I'm wondering if the focus assist would make it through the conversion and if I should explore a different monitor, maybe sell the Swit and go with a similar size monitor with FA.
Anyone fly with focus assist on the sled?
