Hi,

Does the c300 needs a utility software to import footage from cards?

How long per hour is it for highest available format of recording.?

I'm about to rent it for a project and need your help!

Arthur

What do you mean by "import"? Copying clips to a hard drive? Ingesting into an NLE?

The highest bitrate on the C300 Mark I is 50Mbps.

Grab the XF Utility software for free from Canon at this link:

https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/cameras/cinema-eos/eos-c300

Canon XF Utility 3.3 is software that supports the video format XF-MPEG and XF-AVC, and is used for importing, playing back and managing video data as well as cropping still-image data.
