Many schools have done a similar idea to this one - interview students about how they like the school, area, etc and then edit it together into a nice little video. I wanted to do something similar, but I felt that if filmed the entire thing with their cell phone, it would come across as more real and genuine. I could have easily just held the phone for them, but the idea of them holding it themselves helps make it seem even more raw and real. Many (most) of our potential students are watching our videos on their phone, so the idea was to keep it in that aspect ratio.

I filmed 13 (I think) students and edited together in a little video. I ended up really having to make some aggressive cuts because of all the great sound bites I got, so I think I'm going to turn this into a series - one including everything (below) and then individual videos about the academics, the city, the diversity and the friendships.

I also turned this into a :30 spot for us to use and I like the way it turned out.
