Hi guys, did a search of the panasonic ag-EZ1. Some people loved them others did not. Why such a diversity? When was camera released? Also I read about the lack of a firewire port, any other major issues? Also read complaints of noise,odd with 3 1/3" chips, is this because of the old technology used or? Is the image produced similar to a Xl1 ? Any comments are appreciated! Thanks, Mike

I've never had the pleasure of using the EZ1 but its probably noisy due to early generations of DSPs and not so much the size of the CCDs.

Are you looking at buying one? I think the AG-EZ1 came out in or around 1996.
